Section 59
Leave entitled to employees
(1) Employees will get the following holidays as prescribed:-
(a) Bhaipari coming and festival holidays,
(b) Home Leave,
(c) Sick Leave,
(d) Maternity leave,
(e) Maternity leave,
(f) Kiriya Vida,
(g) Leave in lieu,
(h) Study Leave,
(i) Extraordinary leave.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if the spouse of an employee is posted at a Nepalese embassy or any mission abroad, such an employee shall be entitled to unpaid leave as prescribed. The period of leave taken in this way will not be counted in his service period.
(3) Other arrangements and procedures related to leave shall be as prescribed.
